Artificial lawn material structure:







The artificial turf is made up of 3 layers of material. The basic layer is composed of Rammed Soil layer, gravel layer and asphalt or concrete layer. The basic layer requires solid, non deformation, surface clean and water permeable, that is, the general concrete site. Because of the large area of hockey field, it is necessary to deal with the basic layer in the construction and prevent the subsidence. If the concrete layer is laid, the expansion joint should be cut out after the concrete is solidified so as to prevent the thermal expansion and the cracks.



The base layer is a layer of cushioning, usually made up of rubber or foam. The rubber is moderately elastic, and the thickness is 3~5mm.. The cost of foamed plastics is low, but the elasticity is poor. The thickness is 5~10mm. The thickness is too thick. The artificial  lawn is too soft and easy to sag. Too thin and lacking elasticity can not play the role of buffering. The buffer layer should be firmly pasted on the base layer, white latex paste or adhesive for general use.

The third layer, also the surface layer, is the sod layer. This layer also has to be glued to rubber or foam. In construction, artificial lawn must be coated with glue in order to press tightly in turn and not wrinkle.
